The gap between rich and poor is at it’s widest level since the 1920’s. The top 300,000 Americans collectively enjoy almost as much income as the bottom 150 million Americans. To be sure closing that gap will take political courage, and if all politics is truly local, here’s a chance for the locals to step up and lead rather than wait for someone else to take the risk.
